Based on the autobiography book of the same name, this tells the story of Robert Lawrence (R.L.) Stine, who grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He liked to tell scary stories to his brother and always end in cliffhangers. After graduating college, he wrote his first novel, which didn't sell great, but he got to write more comedic stuff, which got him a job as head writer for "Eureeka's Castle" on Nick Jr. After that, he wrote his first young-adult horror novel, "Blind Date." After that he wrote the "Fear Street" series, and eventually, "GOOSEBUMPS!" To this day, R.L. Stine is STILL writing scary stories for children.read more
