After the events of the first film, Stark has been dealing with different questions about being Iron Man. His relationship with Pepper has been evolving, as has Stark Industries' more observant actions over his designs - but also pressure from all sides to share his technology with the military, amid attempts around the world to recreate his armor. But things start to get more chaotic when an old rival of Tony's decides he can get ahead of this by playing dirty. Now, Iron Man will also need to rely on his new alliances if he wants to avoid repeating the same mistakes.
