Prudence and Quint are polar opposites, they dont get along, they agree on nothing and they just cant work together. When a bad grade threatens Prudences transcript, she is forced to spend the summer working with Quint. She soon gets the power to cast instant karma on anyone she passes. Except Quint. With his moms animal shelter in danger, Prudence begins to realize that there are more important things than being a straight A student who never takes a laugh. They soon begin to realize that they have more in common than they think. Will their work be able to save the animals and will they finally begin to discover their true feeling for each other?
