Set 5 Years after the events of the second film, the film follows Riley entering adulthood. Her emotions inside her head continue to help her in important needs. She is about to enter university, but also become the greatest hockey player with the Firehawks. She is excited to hear that her team will be participating in a hockey tournament, but the final match will be set in Minnesota, her childhood town. However, as Riley is about to start the tournament, 5 New Emotions join in, With Nostalgia desiring to take over the console. Surprise is one of Riley's new 5 emotions. He is responsible to shock riley when someting exciting is coming to her life. Whenever Surprise uses the console, this causes riley to feel surprised. His color is lime green, while his colored orb is lime green, too.
