A full year has passed by. Bruce Wayne, overwhelmed by anger and sadness from the death of his son Damian, killed Jack Luthor in cold blood and created a government of his own known simply as ''The Regime''. In this new world, Batman, now known as ''the Superior Batman'' has successfully purged the world of all evil alongside other members of the Justice League and Teen Titans, except for any supervillains that were either willing to join him, or simply fled his grasp. Now, the last line of defense for humanity is a small yet powerful rebellion, led by Clark Kent, otherwise known as Superman, and Bruce's own brother, Thomas Wayne, Jr., who goes by the moniker of Owlman. The world is now divided, and humanity must choose a side in the newly conceived Injustice Wars.
