A redpill is a fictional character from the Matrix franchise/universe that is aware of the true nature of the Matrix itself. A redpill is typically a human, both male and female who was born within the Matrix where his/her body and mind has been freed from the power plant by Zion hovercraft teams after encountering anomalies or glitches in the system of the Matrix's virtual reality where he/she is eventually found by other redpills who offers him/her freedom by giving him/her the choice of taking either a blue pill or red pill while choosing the latter, freeing him/her from physical bonds by exceeding human limitations inside the Matrix. A redpill can become a member of a crew when a position is available and is trained to become a Zion operative or can find a place in Zion. A redpill often adopts an an alternative single-word alias based on individual preference, which can refer to anything, often associated with philosophy, mythology, religion, nature, literature, culture, technology and computer science. A redpill is the only human out of Zion's inhabitants can re-enter the Matrix, as they have a headjack that allows their minds to be re-transmitted back into the Matrix's broadcast network, whereas upon his/her return, a redpill's awareness of the virtual reality allows him/her to bend the Matrix's rules and exceed normal physical limitations, which requires training before it can be perfected.
