Alaska nowadays. A sudden blizzard, seemingly from another time, brings a small town north of America's frozen state to a standstill, with most residents gathering at the supermarket. However, they will quickly realize that the extreme cold is not the only threat to appear suddenly. Animals, thought to have disappeared since the end of the Ice Age, have also burst into town.
