Bruce Wayne, The Dark Knight, The Original Batman.. who actually isn't really dead, but actually faked his death to avoid having his identity exposed due to to his aging causing him to strain his heart, he particularly chose Jace as a successor and has even went semi-out of retirement to keep an eye on him and to make sure all possibilities of crimes are prevented, of course under a new title "The Dark Knight"... Or is it "Dark Detective"?...
