Description of Haymitch Abernathy [Victor of the 50th Hunger Games 2nd Quell] [District 12]:

The infamous 2nd Quarter Quell required double the normal amount of tributes, many of whom displayed feisty personalities though few more so than the older male tribute from District 12, Haymitch Abernathy. Haymitch provided a rough yet charismatic face to the Capitol and won some popularity; avoiding tributes like the serial killer boy from 8, wickedly talented girl from 4, the determined boy from 7 or the gigantic boy from 2 for most of the Games. He won by outsmarting the female tribute from District 1 and tricking her into setting her own death through axe. As of the 3rd Quarter Quell he is still alive age 41 and a leading figure in the rebellion.
