Bruce Banner was dealing with the monster inside of him known as The Hulk for years. He had made enemies in the government along with the mysterious organisation S.H.I.E.L.D wanting to test on Bruce to see how his powers worked. A scientist Samuel Sterns was particularly interested in Bruce’s condition and attempted to replicate it but his gamma exposure caused him to become smarter along with the side of his head increasing.
