Description of The USS Lawton Incident (Episode 1):

Told from the perspective of a young Bill Randa, this episode tells the story of the 1947 incident in which Godzilla, while on his hunt for the Shinomura, had inadvertently sunk the USS Lawton, leaving Randa as the only survivor.
