  • misterwolf Aaliyah and Amara's trainer Shawn Zimmerman is offered extra money to train former champions Earl Francis, Howard Summers Martha Overton, and the ambitious Charlotte Rhodes. He agrees to train Howard and Overton, but refuses to do the same for Francis and Rhodes as they are unreasonable and states that they are "too aggressive."

  • misterwolf Aaliyah suddenly starts throwing up in the bathroom of her and Amara's house. Amara finds her like this and helps her throw up until she she is able to fight it; as she stops, Aaliyah says "I'm not getting rid of it...", indicating her belief that she is pregnant. Amara puts her ear on Aaliyah's stomach, and hears activity, confirming this suspicion.

  • misterwolf Shawn learns of Aaliyah's pregnancy, but at her behest, Amara convinces him to let her race; Aaliyah immediately befriends Howard and Overton, as does Amara, but the four clash with Francis and Rhodes. Aaliyah vaguely recognizes Francis from the bar she was at when she was raped, causing Amara to realize that he knows something about this. She interrogates him, even angrily asking "Do you know who hurt my babygirl?! DO YOU?!!", but he replies that if he knew, he would not say.

  • misterwolf During the first racing practice, Aaliyah and Amara easily win, with Howard and Overton tying in second place; after winning the second practice, Amara tells Shawn that Francis knows something about Aaliyah's incident, and in response, he vows and promises to keep an eye on him. During the first actual race, Aaliyah is forced to let Rhodes win when she becomes sick to her stomach. Shawn assures Aaliyah that her title will not be affected during her absence as long as she appears in the final race, and she willingly heads to her and Amara's camper with Overton following as a means to help.

  • misterwolf Wanting to help Aaliyah overcome her pregnancy and her guilt over Shawn's current state, Harrison Williams encourages her to challenge Rhodes and Francis to race them, Williams, Howard, and Overton; they agree on the condition that it is the final race. Under Scott and a healing Shawn's guidance, Aaliyah modifies her 2010 Dodge Challenger and decides to let Amara ride with her. Finishing in second place, Aaliyah and Amara return to their camper; Aaliyah lets Amara listen to the baby's heartbeat and assures her that they both will be great parents.

  • misterwolf With the final race commencing, a weary Aaliyah initially contemplates cancelling it. However, Amara and Overton persuade her not to and remind her that she can fight it. Aaliyah lets Amara ride with her again; Francis and Rhodes try to ram Aaliyah's car, but she outsmarts them by pulling back behind them. This causes Rhodes to accidentally ram Francis instead, and he ends up falling behind. Just as Aaliyah is about to be wrecked by Rhodes, Williams catches up to them and aids Aaliyah in fighting back.

  • misterwolf In order to win the race fairly, Aaliyah, despite Amara's qualms, is forced to ram Rhodes off of the road to her near death; she reaches the finish line, winning the race and earning an incarcerated Francis' respect. Rhodes is also brought to prison, and she is sentenced for life, while Francis, realizing the error of his ways, allows himself to have the death penalty. Before his execution, he writes an apology letter to Aaliyah saying that he actually did not know what came over him at the bar, and it tells her to raise the child with honor and kindness.
