When Rachel was little, her home was wiped away in the 2004 tsunami which afflicted Southeast Asia. Adopted from Indonesia by American missionaries, her childhood was idyllic and she has developed into a confident young woman. Now, she is left with a burning desire to find her parents, even if it means travelling to the ends of the earth.
