Issei Hyoudou, a normal, albeit perverted high school student attending Kuoh Academy who aspires to be a “Harem King”, was asked out on a date by a girl one day, but following on the day of their date, Issei, to his horrified shock, was ambushed and almost killed by that same girl, revealed to be a fallen angel. But a third-year student of Kuoh, Rias Gremory, intervenes to ward off Issei’s assailant and save his life by reviving him. The following morning, Issei wakes up to find Rias lying beside him in his bed IN THE NUDE! Revealing herself to be a devil, she explained to Issei the nature of his survival: upon being revived, he was therefore reincarnated as a devil as well and has now become Rias’ servant in the process.
