Shayera Hol was a Princess warrior of Thanagar. Their military resources were low, so they sent Shayera to earth to find recruits to their army. She was there for quite some time, and she eventually planted roots in Central City. She got a job at Star Labs, made friends, she had a brand-new life. Thanagar was concerned about safety because she was gone for long, so they sent Catar Hol, A general in the Thanagarian forces to go find Shayera.
