After 3 years of being S.H.I.E.L.D's prisoner Hawkeye is set free by Natasha Romanoff who tells him that she has been deep undercover and had to betray him. Hawkeye still upset agrees to work with her now that she has unlimited info on Hydra. The movie follows the two infiltrating Hydra and eventually finding Baron Zemo having a meeting with M.O.D.O.K. It turns out that Hydra and A.I.M have been working together to take down S.H.I.E.L.D. The movie ends with a fight between Hawkeye and Zemo which ends with him being taken prisoner by Hydra and Black Widow stays undercover.
