Synopsis

These casting choices are based on the descriptions from the books and JK Rowlings writings on Wizarding World. These actors are age accurate to the books and considered based on acting ability to pull off character and appearance with the help of makeup. With the exception of Dumbledore who cannot be cast based on age as there are no actors over 100 AND this is a 10 year project so casting someone over 70 limits who will be able to finish the project.

Description of Ron Weasley:

JK Rowling describes Ron as "tall, thin and gangling, with freckles, big hands and feet, and a long nose." This role could be played by someone slightly older than Harry & Hermione so they'll be taller. Height of the actors family should be considered so that Ron ends the series taller, although this shouldn't be a mandatory requirement. While physical appearance is important, hair can be colored and freckles added.
