Synopsis

My fancast for Harry Potter on MAX. I have some disclaimers. First, some actors I’ve fancast in small roles that are def below their pay grade so it def wouldn’t happen, but I like them anyway. Second! I really tried to go off the books in regards to character ages, but some that would be covered in makeup anyway I was a little more lax about, like Voldemort. And on this note, look, I know the Marauders fandom has their hearts set on Ben Barnes, Andrew Garfield, and Aaron Taylor Johnson... but considering it'll likely be at least five years before we get anywhere close to Prisoner of Azkaban... Ben and Andrew are too old. Ben Barnes would be pushing 50. Andrew Garfield would be in his mid-40s. And Aaron also would be in his mid-30s playing someone who died when he was 21. And Aaron looks older than his age. Five years ago, they all would've been great, but the moment has passed y'all imho. Then finally, I've also obviously left the kids out since they'd mostly be cast with unknowns.

Description of Sirius Black (Padfoot):

I know the Marauders fandom is all on the Ben Barnes train. Ben Barnes would've been great five years ago, but he's starting to read too old at this point imho. I really want to see a Sirius that reads in his early 30s as he actually is in the books (and remember it'll be another several years before this series is actually made and before we get to Prisoner of Azkaban. By the time we get there, Barnes will probably be pushing 50, since he's 41 now.)
