While doing so, he comes across the former sheriff, Leigh Brackett who has tried to find Michael after all these years but has been too elusive for the ex-lawman. They both soon realize that Michael Myers is not dead and has been living in the since abandoned Smith's Grove, where some teens have taken shelter to escape a blizzard that has taken Haddonfield.
