This film completely ignores Halloween 3-Resurrection. Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. The town of Haddonfield has welcomed a new selection of citizens over the past four decades. The only remaining citizen from the murders, other than Laurie, is Tommy Doyle.
