Synopsis

(Casting mostly with Half-Life 2 and its episodes in mind.) After accidentally causing an inter-dimensional alien invasion from an experiment gone wrong at the Black Mesa Research Facility, Gordon Freeman fights to clean up and stop the resulting catastrophe all while evading a military cover up. Afterwards he is approached by a mysterious man with supernatural powers and "employed" under him, getting sent 20 years into the future to fight with his former colleagues against another worse alien empire, the Combine.

Description of Dr. Eli Vance:

He is a former Black Mesa scientist and a prominent member of the resistance against the combine, arguably being their unofficial leader. He is a friend of Gordon, and loving father of Alyx Vance. He is also a close friend and colleague of Dr. Kleiner, working closely with him before and after the Black Mesa incident. He was originally voiced by Robert Guillaume in Half-Life 2 and it's Episodes, and by James Moses Black in Half-Life: Alyx. His face model is unknown.
