Synopsis

I used to watch to original as a kid but decided to come up with my own take of a reboot concept. I included a new original character that ties into their powers and reveal secrets from the past. 3 girls attending college in Australia explore Mako Island for artifacts where unbeknownst to them discover a crystal grotto that gives them the ability to turn into mermaids. Alongside discovering their powers, they also awaken an amnestic ancient warrior trying to discover his past while helping out his new friends.

Description of Zane Bennett:

Zane is one of the popular guys on campus but deep inside he doesn't want it and has other issues. Dealing with the pressure of his dads expectations, his father wants him to become the next head of Bennett Enterprise, he sets him up with a girl he doesn't have a connection with, and doesn't approve of his sons activities. Part of his behavior is influenced by Miriam's causing him to be resentful towards others. Upon meeting Rikki, both relate to their troubles and started to make his own path starting with working at the JuiceNet café.
