Synopsis

I used to watch to original as a kid but decided to come up with my own take of a reboot concept. I included a new original character that ties into their powers and reveal secrets from the past. 3 girls attending college in Australia explore Mako Island for artifacts where unbeknownst to them discover a crystal grotto that gives them the ability to turn into mermaids. Alongside discovering their powers, they also awaken an amnestic ancient warrior trying to discover his past while helping out his new friends.

Linda Denman is a marine scientist who works for the government. When unusual activities in the Gold Coast area catches her attention, she feels that it could be a potential danger to civillains. She is determined to capture and study whatever is out there even it harms innocent people or her job.
