On the planet Aoran, a scientist who has found a way to conquer death itself via his invention, the Star band, has begun to experience side effects and commit only acts of evil. Having had slaughtered everyone else on his planet, he now sets out to kill the Green Lantern Corps, knowing that they will inevitably come for him. Meanwhile, Ganthet girders this and decides to use a Blue Lantern, a member of the Nova Corps, and some various renegades to combat this evil.
