Peter Jason Quill, is an intergalactic ravager and thief also known as Star-Lord. After stealing the crimson gem of Cytorak from the Collector, Quill will need the help of a group of outlaws he meets in the prison of the Nova empire and finds himself in the middle of a war between Thanos and the Skrulls. But the situation changes when Quill and his team discover that the red gem is actually the Space Gem, one of the six Infinity Gems. Thanos then tasks his son Thane with hunting down the Guardians of the Galaxy and retrieving the gem.
