Green Lanterns from across the universe are being targeted by the powerful Red Lantern Corps, who are fueled by their rage and seeking to eradicate all Green Lanterns. When Hal Jordan and his fellow Green Lanterns investigate a distress signal coming from the planet Ryut, they are ambushed by the Red Lanterns and barely escape with their lives. Hal is determined to get to the bottom of this new threat and recruits his fellow Lanterns, including the powerful but unstable Saint Walker and the hot-headed Guy Gardner. As they journey across the universe, battling Red Lanterns at every turn, they uncover a plot by Atrocitus, the leader of the Red Lanterns, to destroy Oa and the Green Lantern Corps from within. With time running out and the fate of the universe at stake, Hal and his team must overcome their own personal demons and work together to take down Atrocitus and his followers. Along the way, they will confront dark secrets from their past and forge new alliances to fight against the relentless rage of the Red Lanterns.
