After the events of Justice League, Hal Jordan finds himself facing a new threat in the form of his friend Hector Hammond. Hammond (after being exposed to fragments from a radioactive meteor) gains a massive brain, psionic powers and near-immortality. Seeking to take vengeance on all those who've wronged him in his life, Hammond becomes a near-unstoppable threat. Now it's up to Green Lantern to stop his former friend before it's too late.
