As seen on the Season 1 of the Green Lantern Corps, John Stewart is now a member of the Green Lanterns and Sinestro left them to start his own Corps. Sinestro then attacks Oa with the power of the Yellow Lantern and a whole Corps of members. Because of this, the Guardians feel forced to change the Book of Oa to let their troops use lethal force agains the Yellow Lanterns. When the Green Lanterns are almost out of strenght, the Star Sapphires come and give them a boost to win the war. In the end, Sinestro is arrested by the Green Lanterns and is forced to stay in Oa for the rest of his life. For him, his duty is done, he made the Lanterns change their ways for the first time and will now watch them go from peacekeepers to judge, jury and executioners.
