  • kccasting Demeter is mother nature. Mother nature is beautiful. Mother nature is also a mean b***h. Lucy Liu can play beautiful, she can also play a mean b***h. She is also one of the first gods and the sister of Zeus, Lucy Liu has both the maturity and presence to be one of the older gods on Mt. Olympus. She will also be the subject of an episode in which she is so mean spirited that she is willing to let everyone in Greece starve to death unless Hades return her kidnapped daughter, Persephone from the underworld. I can definetely see Lucy Liu portraying these levels of both ugliness and cold fairness whilst also commanding respect as she is perhaps the most important god to the survival of man and she knows it! She also has the acting ability to go up against the likes of Idris Elba & Christian Bale, just imagine her daughter beeing kidnapped and then watch "that" scene from Kill Bill Vol. 1.
