Synopsis

Dr. Ryan Stone is a medical engineer on her first space mission. Her commander is veteran Matt Kowalsky, on his last trip before retiring. A routine spacewalk turns into a disaster and the ship is destroyed, leaving Ryan and Matt trapped in space, with no connection to Earth and no hope of being rescued. Their fear turns to panic, and they realize that their way home will be an adventure in space.
