Miriam is full of internal contradictions. Since childhood, she has struggled with social pressures and expectations that impose traditional values on her. Although she has deep feelings for Julia, she is unable to move beyond her fear of rejection and other people's judgments. She is sensitive, but cannot find the courage to live according to her own identity, which leads her to live in a false heteronormative relationship. Miriam is a character full of doubts and fears, who over time begins to struggle with guilt and frustration.
