Set in the city of Rochester, Good Burger (2022) follows Dexter Reed, who ends up working at Good Burger after a car accident. There he reunites with the endlessly optimistic Ed, whose unusual ideas—including his famous Ed's Sauce—help make the restaurant a beloved part of the community. Everything changes when businessman Kurt Bozwell opens Mondo Burger, a flashy fast-food chain determined to dominate Rochester. Its spectacular grand opening triggers a citywide blackout that disrupts Rochester Cinemas, Rochester Studios, Rochester Drive-In Cinemas, and businesses across downtown, turning a restaurant rivalry into a fight for the city's future. As Kurt's schemes escalate, Ed and Dexter are temporarily arrested after being framed, escape with Otis, and become involved in a massive chase across Rochester involving Griffin and Troy. Along the way, they uncover the evidence needed to expose Kurt's plan. The conflict culminates in the Battle for Rochester, where Ed, Dexter, Otis, Roxanne, Griffin, Troy, Mr. Wheat, Heather, Fizz, and the Good Burger team confront Kurt at Mondo Burger. Together they stop his takeover, restore hope to the city, and ensure that Good Burger remains the heart of Rochester. The film ends with Kurt Bozwell's arrest, Rochester celebrating its heroes, and the Good Burger sign shining over the city—while quietly setting the stage for Kurt's return in Good Burger 2 (2025) through the rise of MegaCorp.
