Skull Island, 1944. A giant gorilla attacks a gigantic dinosaur to save a small native girl. During that time, the atomic weapons hit and the gorilla was changed forever. 50 years later, as Godzilla returns to destroy Japan, a research team and old reporter Steven Martin journey to that same island to find something that can stop Godzilla. They found a perfect match. the 8th Wonder of the World, King Kong! Kong is taken to Japan to battle Godzilla, but he’s no match for the nuclear menace, Godzilla attacks the city of Tokyo afterwards. Kong then gains incredible new powers in a lightning storm and rematches with Godzilla in the battle of the century!
