From Studio Ghibli comes an epic animated retelling of the world's most beloved monster from the original scripts by Shigeru Kayama. In the dawn of the 1950's, ships are reported destroyed by a mysterious blue light off the coast of an isolated island. It is here a legend reveals itself, a gargantuan beast known as Godzilla awakened and scarred by the H-Bomb testings.
