Trigger Inc. (Japanese: 株式会社トリガー, Hepburn: Kabushiki-gaisha Torigā), also known as Studio Trigger, is a Japanese animation studio founded by former Gainax employees Hiroyuki Imaishi and Masahiko Ōtsuka on August 22, 2011.
An anthology of animated shorts celebrating Godzilla and Kong through the lens of the world's best anime creators and storytellers that offers a new, diverse perspective on the MonsterVerse. Created outside of the constraints of the franchise's traditional canon, the films provide creative freedom to each director and production studio, while maintaining fidelity to the themes and identity of the MonsterVerse.
