Cyrax charges his energy net as Glacius pleads with him that he doesn't have to do this. Cyrax states he is doing this for Lin Kuei and humanity as he fires his net at Sektor, revealing himself to be free from Sektor's control at last. Enraged at Cyrax's betrayal, Sektor dodges using his teleport to uppercut Cyrax. Glacius helps Cyrax up as he welcomes him back to humanity when Cyrax shouts a warning.
