Description of Daisy Shanks:
Lena’s youngest daughter. When Lena went to prison, the young Louisa and Daisy went to live with relatives, who mistreated them fiercely and turned the girls out for prostitution. Daisy became pregnant with twins as a result at age 14, and gave birth to Ella and Rob upon reuniting with her mother. She is well-regarded as the safest and cleanest abortionist in The Triangle. She’s a bubbly blonde woman, who loves jokes and has a gentle spirit. She is accidentally shot in the throat by Benjamin Stallworth when the police attempt to apprehend her for providing abortions, setting Lena’s plan into motion. Age 22-25
