Description of Annie Leech (The Indomitable Leech):
Charlotta Kegoe’s rival for championship in the underground female boxing world. More outwardly muscular than her competitor Lotta, she is very tall with blonde hair and small eyes. She is in a relationship with Jemmie, but can be very jealous. She is a close friend of Helen Stallworth, who meets them both while on a charity mission. She gathers the feverish and emaciated Helen up when she is left on her doorstep and moves out of the city to Virginia, where she and Jemmie nurse her back to health, and add her as a member to their family. Age 35-45
