Many years ago, Carter Slade became the Ghost Rider and was in a war with Mephisto. One day, he had to fake his own death to survive and retired from being the Ghost Rider. He hide and became the Caretaker who occasionnaly uses his powers. Many decades later, we're introduced to Johnny Blaze, who got similar powers as Carter and became the new Ghost Rider. Carter and Johnny team up to fight Mephisto and they discover Johnny has a long-lost brother who apparently is a Ghost Rider himself.
