Synopsis

After her mother's "accident", Jess moved to a small Massachusetts beach town with her extended family. Things were getting better for her: she had close friends, good grades, and was finally healing enough to talk to her mom again. But everything was worse in a way as well. Things moving and breaking with no explanation, strange figures following her every move, and Corey loathing her every moment of her existence. Jess has powers, powers strong enough to take out entire worlds and re-write reality. In the right hands, that power could change the world. But it turns out human hands aren't the right ones.

Description of Jessica "Jess" Lloyd:

After her mother's recent overdose, she moves in with her aunt's family for the foreseeable future. The small east coast beach town seems peaceful at first, but Revere has a lot of secrets hidden within its history. Jess unleashes powers that can move soundwaves and turn them into other types of energy, and she has no idea how to control them. Though her powers start off tame, barely noticeable, they developed fast and end up destroying everything in her path. Jess needs to choose to follow in Claudia's footsteps, feeding off the energy of the town to stay immortal, or let the power consume her so she can't hurt anyone else ever again.
