Originally conceived as a movie or a half-hour special by Jon Davis (creator of Garfield); It was turned down by studios because it was too dark. Garfield, Odie, and other animals sense a raging tornado heading into town! They must gather around the humans and find shelter! Meanwhile, Arlene being a stray cat is all alone in the alley. Garfield runs out to save her while the storm blows!
