The Gym Leader of the Arthostead Gym and the first Gym Leader faced during the Minor League. Darwin is a coworker of Amane's parents whose field of research focuses on just about everything to do with Bug-types, which he feels are extremely misunderstood. He decided to become a Gym Leader in hopes of showing the public a different side to his beloved Bug-types and hopefully garner more support for his research as well. Despite being an amateur at battling, his knowledge of Bug types served him well and recently got him into the Minor League. VAs of color only.
