A competitor in the Minor League. Bede's an orphan with a particularly rough past, and as he grows closer and closer to aging out of the system, he finds himself in a rush to get out of his rough lot in life. The one spot of hope he has was a memory from his childhood, where none other than Chairman Rose visited his orphanage, and gifted him his beloved partner Pokemon Hatterene. Years later, Chairman Rose revisited him, and told him that he had big plans for Bede—but wants to make sure he's strong enough for these grandiose plans, so he proposed that Bede sign up for the Minor League to hone his skills, with the promise of a Major League sponsorship if he placed in the finals. Needless to see, Bede is all too eager to make Chairman Rose proud.
