A 10 episode exploration into the oddest marriage in Showbiz: the Union of The King of Pop and The King of Rock and Roll’s Daughter. It will explore the romance against the questions about it’s validity, from the private moments where they truly had a connection to the soul crushing public eye that couldn’t decide if it was real. It will also have elements of American Crime Story and Monster, in that it will dissect the timing of their marriage against the backdrop of Michael’s child molestation allegations and also take one of the most disturbing chapters from Lisa’s posthumous autobiography as fact. This season is about the question of if a celebrity marriage is actually real, which side people are on in trying to judge what they see, and how some unorthodox relationships are more nuanced than people think.
