Synopsis

During the summer festival five years ago, two girls met at a mysterious tree and saw two glowing spheres. Now, these two girls--Saki Hyuuga, ace pitcher on the school softball team; and Mai Mishou, who prefers sketching over stargazing--are chosen by the spirits of flowers (Flappy) and birds (Choppy) to restore the Seven Fountains and save their worlds from Dark Autumn. Together, they are the NEW Pretty Cure. ‖ Fancast for a hypothetical English dub of Futari wa Precure Splash Star. Professional VAs only, no celebs.

Description of Mai Mishou (Cure Egret/Cure Windy):

A girl who met Saki five years ago at the Sky Tree during a festival. She moved back to Saki's hometown later and reunited with Saki at the same place. Resolving to protect Choppy and Flappy who appeared to her alongside her friend, she gains the power to become Cure Egret and save the Land of Fountains and protect the Fountain of the Sun. Mai is a calm, innocent, and serene young girl who is good at academics. Not only does she have an enthusiasm on drawing, but she is also loves science, which is highly influenced by both her parents being scientists. She likes to sketch things that have deep meanings to her and always draws inspiration from the happy events around her.
