A former officer in the Australian Army, Lloyd was hailed as the "Hero of Huffman Island" during the 2nd conflict in the disputed territory. After defeating USNC Army Captain Thaddeus Driscoll and putting an end to skirmishes in "The Island," he rallied his mercenary group, the "Canyon Crows," and turned to a secretive life as an arena fighter. Wanted by OCU and unable to get over the death of his fiancee Karen Moore, he spends his life on the run while squandering away his days with debauchery.
