It's not a remake or reboot, it's a revival about other characters. Some of the "Friends" alums will make cameos or become recurring characters. The main cast will this time show diversity. Some are white, some are a different race, some are LGBT, and someone might be a they/them. But like the old show, the main characters will consist of "the smart one," "the dumb one," "the cute/sexy one," "the funny one," etc. The main characters could either hang out at Central Perk, or somewhere else in New York City.
