Steve is the son of the former owners of Camp Crystal Lake. He has invested much of his own money in the project after the camp has been closed for twenty years since the unsolved murder of two counselors in 1978. A fair boss, Steve is the driving force behind the project and responsible for keeping the counselors in check and making sure that this new venture is a profitable one.
