In an alternate America ruled by a fascist regime, a scattered group of superhuman resistance fighters rises from the shadows. Led by Uncle Sam, the Freedom Fighters unite to liberate their homeland from tyranny and restore the ideals it was built upon. As the regime closes in, Black Condor, Phantom Lady, Human Bomb, Doll Man, and The Ray must overcome their differences and become a true team. But their greatest battle will force them to confront what freedom really means, and how much they are willing to sacrifice for it.
