After years of fighting crime, Bruce Wayne decides to hang up Batman's cape and retire from vigilante life, with that, Gotham City becomes hell, with high rates of violence and crime and a mutant gang ruling the city. Upon learning that a psychologist intends to reintroduce his former enemies into society, Bruce Wayne resolves to don the cape once more to fight crime again, the problem is that now he is old and tired.
